Tuscan cuisine - with the steak cooked on the grill (strictly charcoal) - is celebrated here every evening but at Sabatini you will also find the flame cooking, the only restaurant in Europe, with a complete flambé menu (from appetizers to desserts!)

My colleague and I had a fantastic lunch there on our trip to Florence. Alfred and Francesco are wonderful hosts; the food is delicious and authentic and the restaurant itself is steeped in local tradition and history

This place was far superior to every other fine dining restaurant we visited. The owner was so gracious and even did our crepe Suzette flambé personally. What a charm!!! Will be back for sure!

The white truffle thinly shaved over homemade flat fettuccine was simple yet, exquisite. The Spaghetti Sabatini is award winning for a reason. All must try it. The Steak Florentine was perfectly cooked and was an excellent complement to the pasta and Chianti. Sabatini's was a real treat and was made more special with the occasional attention from 1st class proprietor. Bravissimo!
